Strategic Venture
Sessions
Climate solutions must reflect the complexity and interdependency of the systems into which they are being deployed. In our Strategic Venture Sessions, we help you look at both the internal and external factors that are influencing the outcome of your efforts. Our sessions combine traditional strategic planning processes with an integrated, systems-thinking approach to focus on achieving your transformational goals.
This is challenging work that requires paradigm-shifted thinking, so we employ a beyond-the-box approach that includes elements of creative play—music, food, and fresh, clean air—to balance the ebb and flow of the team’s energy and dynamics and encourage diversity of perspectives.
Here’s why: You’ve probably left many a strategic planning session feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, unclear, or even worse, uninspired. In our experience, that’s a surefire recipe for not following through with aligned action.
We don’t let that happen.
But you know better than anyone that strategy work is an important investment of your time and resources, so we intend to make the return immediately apparent: clear direction, an energized team, enhanced trust and understanding, and aligned vision for the future.
What these sessions can look like
•Can be designed for individual leaders, founders, leadership teams, business units, boards, or other curious organizations
•Depending on scope and objectives, sessions are typically between a half day and 3 days
•In-person sessions provide the best experience, but virtual programs for distributed teams work, too
Action Mapping
Once you’ve nailed down your strategy, you’re ready to venture ahead. The problem is, the day-to-day-ness of work—meetings, deadlines—can douse the spark of your ideas and enthusiasm and halt any momentum on your initiatives.
While we can’t change your work duties, we can work with you to create a clear path to get you from point A to point B. Action Mapping is a roll-up-your-sleeves engagement that’s highly tailored to your organizational goals. It’s intended to be a collaborative process that helps you and your team understand where you’re heading and equip you with resilient systems that will get you where you’re going successfully.
