About our founder
Hi, I’m Carmen.
I spent much of my 25-year career in clean energy and climate working alongside scientists, engineers, policy makers, and business leaders. But it wasn’t until I took a much-needed gap year that I gained perspective as to how my varied skills, experience, and beyond-the-box systems thinking could help connect our disparate human-designed systems and become a catalyst for a paradigm shift in our industry, from incremental changes to bold, inspired action.
And I believe we not only need to increase the pace of installation for all the “boxy” solutions we’re creating, but we also need to urgently activate more of nature’s interconnected, complex, circuitous, and often overlooked circular solutions.
This work isn’t a job for me, it’s my passion. Because I know that it’s imperative we implement more of these collective solutions before it’s too late for our children’s future.
